Call for Composers: August 15-16

Pieces of 8 event is looking for compositions!

Come compose for a unique opportunity to create an outside sound experiment. Take 8 channels and 8 speaker stacks, spread it out over one city block and you get pieces of 8. GRAMMY Soundcheck with The Decemberists’

Attention Cornish Music Students:

GRAMMY Soundcheck with The Decemberists’, Friday, July 17th, late afternoon, Marymoor Park

The GRAMMY Foundation helps us to organize SoundChecks with touring bands. GRAMMY SoundChecks are opportunities for a group of college music students to visit an artist’s touring venue and participate in a one-on-one setting with them and other industry professionals within their crew about careers in the music business. Each Q&A session lasts about 45 minutes and is followed by the students observing an actual sound check rehearsal.
