35mm SLIDES - Faculty teaching collection. Limited access for students by appointment.

The collection includes images from architecture, drawing, graphic design, illustration, painting, photography, prints, sculpture, and "new forms" (multimedia, installation art, etc.).

Faculty using the collection for the first time must contact Bridget Nowlin, Curator of Visual Resources, for an orientation.

The slide collection contains more then 42,000 mounted 35mm slides. The slides are cataloged using a Filemaker Pro database. The slide database may be searced on-site in the Image Collection office.

ONLINE DIGITAL IMAGES from ARTstor Digital Image Database - Available to all Cornish students, faculty and staff.

ARTstor is a digital library of art images, associated information, and software tools designed to enhance teaching, learning and scholarship. ARTstor contains over 500,000 images of Art, Design, Architecture and Archeology, Dance, Music and Theater from a wide range of cultures and time periods, with initial strengths in European, American and Asian cultures. New images are being added constantly.

If you connect to this database from off campus you will be prompted for your last name and Cornish ID number in order to login.
