  3. That if you observe anyone acting in a suspicious manner, you contact the Cornish Security office.

Policy and Procedures for Reporting Crimes

Cornish College is located in an active urban community and is vulnerable to criminal activity that occurs in this area. This is a relatively open campus where students come and go at will along with friends, parents, prospective students, performance patrons, and the curious.

From time to time, a criminal element may enter our campus. During the period of time in which you attend Cornish it is possible that you will be a victim or witness a crime. In the past many crimes have been solved, property recovered and the criminals prosecuted as a direct result of information obtained from students. For this reason it is important to report all crimes and suspicious activities in a timely manner.

When Calling Campus Security:

Remember as much detail as you can and write down information if possible to assist your memory.

Dial 911 if it is a life-threatening emergency (from campus phones, dial 9-911).

Dial 5038 from any campus phone to reach Cornish Security.

(See Student Handbook for further information.)
